WILTON – Announcement is made of the engagement of Capt. Brenda Grace Hathaway Walker and Brian Geoffrey Thomas, both of Rockland.

The future bride is the daughter of Barry and Barbara Hathaway of Wilton. She is a graduate of Medomak Valley High School in Waldoboro.

The future bridegroom is the son of Bill and Gisela Fry of Rhinebeck, N.Y. He is a graduate of Arlington High School in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

The couple owns Maine Boating Adventures, LLC, offering multi-day sailing adventures aboard the Schooner Isaac H. Evans, and harbor cruises aboard the M/V Rendezvous.

A May 25 wedding will be held at the North End Shipyard in Rockland.
