CONCORD, N.H. (AP) – A medic with the 237th Military Police Company of the New Hampshire Army National Guard has been killed in Iraq.

A spokesman for the National Guard says 27-year-old Specialist David Stelmat of Littleton died on Saturday when a roadside bomb exploded near the Humvee he was in.

Two other soldiers also died.

Stelmat was attached to the 1132nd Military Police.

Stelmat’s family has requested privacy during their time of grief.
