PERU – Tina M. Casey, 49, died Sunday, March 23, at her home, after a courageous battle with cancer, with her family and friends at her side. She was a resident of the Valley Road in Peru.

She was born in Rumford on June 16, 1958, a daughter of Herman and Inez LeBlanc. She attended Rumford schools and Andover College. She worked as a certified nursing assistant for the Rumford Hospital.

She was married in Peru on Oct. 1, 1994, to Charles Casey, who survives of Peru.

Other survivors include two sons, Michael O’Leary and his wife, Kerry, of Mechanic Falls, and Dan O’Leary of Nashua, N.H.; two daughters, Michelle Casey of Jay and Christa Casey of Peru; her father, Herman LeBlanc of Rumford and her mother Inez LeBlanc of Rumford; grandchildren, Alyssa O’Leary, Karley O’Leary, Kaylin O’Leary, Khloe O’Leary, Alexis Casey and Charles Casey; three brothers, Clayton LeBlanc of Florida, Chris LeBlanc and his wife, Julie, of Florida, and Armand LeBlanc of Sabattus; and two special friends, Kerry Leighton and Denise Francis.
