Theater funding

L/A Arts received a grant from Bank of America’s Charitable Foundation Inc., with funding used for a Readers Theatre, aimed at enhancing reading comprehension, refining reading fluency, developing stronger communication skills and boosting the self-confidence and self-esteem of students. Martel Elementary School students, along with Erik Moody, Liz Hardcastle and Tavia Gilbert from the theater troupe, participated in a program for kindergarten and first-grade students.
