Vet rep to visit

WELD – Joan Masterman, who worked for the Veterans Administration for five years, will explain VA benefits for veterans and their families and also will help with VA paperwork from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 3, at the Weld Town Office.

Genealogy meet

FARMINGTON – The Sandy River Chapter, Maine Genealogical Society, will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 5, at the University of Maine Computer Lab in the Mantor Library. The meeting is open to the public, but those attending will need to stop at the receptionist desk for a password to use the computers.

Group to perform

FARMINGTON – Journey Home will perform at 6 p.m. Sunday, April 6, at Trinity United Methodist Church, Routes 2 and 27.

Journey Home is a family gospel group from Wilton. They have been on the road since 2001, ministering in the New England states. A free will offering will be taken.
