AUBURN – Dorothy M. Puteett, 81, of Auburn, died Thursday, March 27, at Clover Health Care Facility.

She was born on Jan. 20, 1927, in Iowa. She graduated in 1945 in Terre Haute, Ind.

She married Wayne Travis Puteett in October 1946, and he died on Feb. 16, 1993. She retired from Olan Mills Studio and moved to Maine in 1993.

She is survived by a daughter, Lisa Walker and her husband, Bruce, of Auburn; two granddaughters, Kimberly Hebert of Durham and Carole Starling of Bangor; and three great-grandchildren, Kyle and Bryan Chabe and Aaron Wotton.
