RANGELEY – Lorraine M. Bubier, 64, of Rangeley, died unexpectedly Wednesday, March 26, at her home.

She was born Oct. 24, 1943, in Rangeley, the daughter of Orie and Margorie (Bachelder) Bubier. She graduated from Rangeley schools.

She worked various jobs including cooking in local restaurants. She was a member of the Rangeley Baptist Church and enjoyed crafts, cooking, reading and good deeds for her family.

She is survived by a daughter, Melody Bubier of Lewiston; a brother, Ed Haley and his wife, Virginia, of Peterborough, N.H.; five grandchildren, James, Shana, Crystal, Harley and Lucien; one great-granddaughter, Ashanti; and her beloved church family.

She was predeceased by brothers, Virgil and Wendell Bubier; and an infant sister, Rita Bubier.
