SEBASTIAN, Fla. – Ronald A. LaMontagne, 58, died Feb. 29 in Florida.

He was born in Salem, Mass., and moved to New Jersey at an early age. He graduated from Red Bank High in New Jersey.

He worked as a contractor for eight years. In 1971, he was married in Matawan, N.J. He then entered into a partnership with a friend and ran a parking business in lower Manhattan.

In 1981, he moved to Maine, where he owned and operated Mountain View Estates Mobile Home Community with his wife until retirement, August 2006, when he moved to Sebastian, Fla.

Survivors include his wife, Grace LaMontagne; son, Christopher LaMontagne; mother, Germaine LaMontagne; brother, Donald LaMontagne; sister-in-law, Kathy LaMontagne; niece, Rene’ LaMontagne; and nephew, DJ LaMontagne.

He was predeceased by his father, Adrien LaMontagne; brother, Paul LaMontagne; and sister, Jane LaMontagne.
