LIVERMORE FALLS – The Livermore Falls-Jay Senior Citizens met at Murray Hall on March 24 with 28 members and a guest present.

Chairwoman Shirley Couture opened the meeting with prayer, salute to the flag and a moment of silence for departed members and the men and women in the armed forces.

Reported on the sick list were Dora Slovak, Lucille Frechette, Gene Roy, who is now at home, and Cecile Hathaway, who is also at home.

Members will celebrate Easter on Monday, March 31, with a casserole meal. Everyone is expected to bring something. The meal will be served at noon.

Doris Wilson, Jeanne Oakes and Blanche Bilodeau were welcomed back and Red Therrien was welcomed as a guest. The 50-50 was won by Carmen Moreau.

Mark Duguay and Sharon Hebert spoke to the group about insurance. Following the meeting, cards and games were played.
