DURHAM – Town meeting will get under way at 7:45 a.m. Friday, April 4, at the elementary school gym with the election of a moderator.

It will then immediately adjourn to the polls for the election of municipal officers and two referendum questions by secret ballot from 8 a.m. through 8 p.m.

The business portion of the meeting will reconvene 9 a.m. Saturday, April 5, at the school gym to act on warrant articles 3 through 69. There is no break for lunch but snacks and beverages will be on sale. Town reports are available at the town office.

This year’s report is dedicated to two long-time elected officials, Selectman Chairman Wesley Bennett and Budget Committee Chairman Allan Purinton, both of whom have served in the capacity as chairman for most of their time in office.
