JAY – A Mass of Christian Burial for Joanne Knapp of Jay was held Monday at St. Rose of Lima Church, Jay, with the Rev. Roger Chabot officiating, after a special prayer service at the Wiles Remembrance Center. The St. Rose resurrection choir was under the direction of Therese Therrien. Pallbearers were Todd Flynn, Sport Knapp, J. P. Ouellette, Robin Marshall, Lee Marshall and Beau Ouellette. The Daughters of Isabella and members of the Frank L. Mitchell Post 3335 VFW Auxiliary were honorary bearers. After services, the VFW Auxiliary hosted a family reception at the VFW Post on Route 133, Jay. Winter entombment at the funeral home. Spring burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Livermore Falls.
