LEWISTON – A funeral Mass honoring the life of Liane Charest Sarrasin was celebrated Monday at Holy Family Church, after prayers at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home. The Rev. Nathan March celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. At the beginning of Mass, the pall was placed on Mrs. Sarrasin’s casket by her children, Claire Vallee, Doris Doucet and Gerard Sarrasin. The readings were done by Cynthia Vallee Smith and Lise Schulz. The offertory was brought to the altar by Robert Vallee and Cynthia Vallee Smith. Pallbearers were Steven Vallee, Thomas Smith, Gary Preston, David Lepage, Larry Charest and Normand Bussiere. A reception of fellowship was held at the Chickadee Restaurant after the services at the cemetery.
