Fortier Chapter

LEWISTON – The Dr. Paul Fortier Chapter 52, Association Canado-Americaine, will gather at 7 p.m. Monday, April 7, in the Senior Citizens Room, Multi-Purpose Center.

Golden Agers

AUBURN – The Golden Age Club celebrated Fr. Frank Murray’s birthday at the March meeting at Sacred Heart Church Hall. After a corned beef and cabbage meal, Paul and Gil Farrell entertained.

The club will meet at noon Thursday, April 8, for a dinner of Chinese pie, salad, bread, beverage and homemade desserts. Call Paula for reservations at 576-4082. An auction will follow. Members are asked to bring their items for the auction and nonperishable foods for donations.

Sodality meeting

LEWISTON – Rosary Sodality will hold recitation of the Rosary at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, in the St. Patrick’s Church Chapel followed by a business meeting in Msgr. Fitzpatrick Room. The annual card party on April 22 will be discussed. The annual penny sale, coffee and refreshments will follow.

Open houses

NEW GLOUCESTER – Eastgate Christian School, 68 Cobbs Bridge Road, will hold open houses during April.

The school will be open to visitors from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, April 8 and 9, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 10. For more information, call 926-3333.

Breast-feeding

AUBURN – Expectant women and breast-feeding mothers are invited to the La Leche League meeting to be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, at 102 Bennett Ave. Babies are welcome.

Discussion will focus on “Breast-feeding: The Mother-Baby Relationship and the Weaning Process.” All concerns about breastfeeding are welcome. For breastfeeding help or directions to the meeting, call the La Leche League leader at 782-6645.

Club Richelieu
