Turkey dinner
PARIS – A turkey dinner with homemade pies will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 5, at Deering Memorial Methodist Church. Cost is $7 for adults and $3 for children under 12.
Walking program
BRIDGTON – A Step Into Fitness Indoor Walking Program will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Mondays and Fridays, sponsored by the Bridgton Community Center. All ages and abilities are welcome.
Rummage sale
PARIS – The Universalist Church, 36 Pine St., will hold its annual spring rummage sale from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 5. A bag sale will follow from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. A large plastic bag can be purchased for a $1 and filled with items left from the rummage sale.
Items featured are clean second-hand clothes of all sizes, toys, tools, kitchen ware, household items, footwear and linens. There will also be a collectibles table with jewelry and old and new treasures.
Bridge results
NORWAY – Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge Club met March 28 in the Fare Share Building, Main Street, when a three-table Howell movement club championship was played.
Finishing first in Flight A were Marj Street and Les Buzzell; second, Marta Clements and Dick Allen; first in Flight B, Cindy and Bob Kirchherr; second, Bev Dolan and Bev Pelletier.
