“Inner Landscape,” an exhibit of images taken by photographer Mark Brandhorst, will be shown April 4-26 at Commons Art Gallery, 447 Main St., Norway. An opening reception will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 4. “Looking at things closely shifts my awareness and I see things anew. I enjoy watching nature in motion and observing visual patterns in daily life around me,” said Brandhorst. He likes to keep viewers wondering when they observe his images, questioning at first take what it is they are seeing. Besides photography, he expresses his creativity through gardening and stone masonry. Gallery hours are 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
