This summer, the Lewiston School Department decided to replace the gym floor at Lewiston High School. The main reason for which Lewiston High School replaced the floor, was that the previous cement floor was getting old and worn out. The new floor was put together by Conner Sports Court. This new wooden floor is designed to be easier on the knees, as opposed to the old gym floor.
Lewiston High School is very protective of the new gym floor and does not allow students to bring food or drinks into the gym. In addition, students are required to wear appropriate shoes. Students have found that the new floor does indeed provide far more cushion and is easier on their knees. Great job Lewiston High School!
