LEWISTON – Maureen Perry, reference librarian at USM’s Lewiston-Auburn College, recently earned her post master’s certificate of advanced study in adult learning through the University of Southern Maine.

Her research concerned professional development portfolios for librarians. She was also inducted into the Golden Key International Honour Society.

Perry holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maine at Fort Kent, a master’s degree in speech communication from the University of Maine, and a master’s degree in library and information science from Simmons College in Boston.

Perry serves on the board of directors for the USM Franco-American Collection. Additionally, she belongs to the Association of College and Research Libraries/New England Chapter’s Continuing Education Committee.

A resident of Lewiston, Perry manages library subscriptions for the journal Women in French Studies and volunteers at Community Little Theatre. She is the daughter of Pauline Perry and the late Normand Perry of Lewiston.
