At the Maine Education Office in Augusta, a student art exhibit has been created. Teachers who are MAEA (Maine Art Education) members may select one student art piece each from their building.

From Lewiston Middle School Mrs. Kay Allison has chosen Jessica’s print to be displayed, and Ms. Kate Cargile has chosen Briana Brown’s medal tooling artwork. The students artwork will be professionally framed by Michael’s, and will be funded by the MEA.

The artwork will be displayed at the MEA office form March to October 2008. Artwork is then returned to the students framed.
