FARMINGTON – Lois Yvonne Williams, 62, of Jay, died late Tuesday, April 1, at the Franklin Memorial Hospital.

She was born July 23, 1945, in Boise, Idaho, a daughter of Franklin and Alice (Chartier) Leavitt. On Feb. 6, 1965, she married Richard Williams in Boston. He died on Nov. 17, 1986.

Her job in life was to be a loving homemaker to her husband and children, which she did with great success. She enjoyed crocheting, watching TV and time spent with her family.

She is survived by three sons, Richard Williams and his fiancée, Vanessa Worster, of Plymouth, Frank Williams and his wife, Helen, of Jay and Mike Williams and his wife, Tracy, of Jay; a brother, Donald Leavitt of Tifton, Ga.; five sisters, Faye Frye of Athens, Tenn., Patricia Colleton of Glendale, Ariz., Eileen Nickola of Ottowa, Kan., Donna Garcia of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Rita Kane of Edgewater, Fla.; four grandchildren, Jayson, Samantha, Jenna and Frank Williams Jr.; and one great-grandchild, Jayden Williams.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Jane Williams; and a brother, Raymond Leavitt.
