LEWISTON – Announcement is made of the engagement of Kelly Nguyen and Matt Beckim, both of Lewiston.

The future bride is the daughter of Chi Nguyen and Dianne LaChance of Lewiston. She is currently enrolled at Central Maine Community College in the business administration program. She is employed as risk management specialist at Northeast Bank.

The future bridegroom is the son of Bill Beckim of Augusta and Diane Beckim of Monmouth. He received a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from the University of Maine at Farmington. He is employed as director of marketing at Medical Case Management Group.

An August 2010 wedding is planned.
