AUBURN – Rinck Advertising, 86 Main St., has hired Jennie Whitaker as account manager/public relations specialist. She specializes in developing media opportunities and identifying public relations tactics to highlight clients’ activities among their audiences and execute their plans.

Whitaker comes to Rinck Advertising after relocating from Texas, where she worked as a media relations manager for Medical City Hospital in Dallas, where she created media opportunities for the hospital’s external communications, arranged for editorial coverage, and managed public relations plans.

Whitaker has also worked for the American Lung Association, Edelman Public Relations, and Texas-country musician and three-time Grammy nominee Pat Green.

She earned a master’s degree in advertising and public relations at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas, and a bachelor’s degree in public relations at the University of Texas in Austin, Texas.
