This is in response to the letter from the Rev. Douglas Taylor, April 5.

He wrote about Mark LaFlamme’s smart-aleck style of writing, calling it “ridiculous.” Well, that is his opinion, but he shouldn’t use God to try to justify it. Taylor’s views are nothing but religious mumbo-jumbo, spoon-fed from the Bible. I think LaFlamme is a very talented writer, not only his columns, but his books, as well.

Perhaps the Rev. Taylor would be open to another biblical quotation, from Matthew 7, 1-2: “Judge not lest ye be judged, for with the judgment you make you will be judged and the measure you give will be the measure you get.”
