AUBURN – Lillian Boulay, 83, of 21 Green St., Lewiston, died Tuesday, April 8, at Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice.
She was born July 8, 1924, in Lewiston, a daughter of the late Francois and Eve LaFlamme Bussiere. She was educated in Lewiston schools. She was married to Joseph Ronald Boulay, who died in April 1999.
She was a member of the Auburn Catholic community at St. Philips Parish and worked as a folder at Bates Manufactoring Co.
She enjoyed doing puzzles, search a word, sewing and gardening. She loved spending her time with family and friends. She will be remembered for her strength, laughter and taking care of her husband and family.
She is survived by her two daughters, Diane Moncrief and her husband, Charles, of Orlando, Fla., and Sandy Robert and her husband, Raymond, of Lewiston; her grandchildren, David Moncrief and companion, Wendy, of Sarasota, Fla., Kim Chabot and her husband, Donald, of Litchfield and Rodney and Tonya Robert of New York; great-grandchildren, Samantha and Klayton; and her sisters, Yvette Lachance of Connecticut, Cora Ward and her husband, Milton, of Connecticut, and Irene Lachance and her husband, Lionel, of Lewiston.
She was predeceased by two sisters; and five brothers.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Joseph, the Hospice House, Dr. Austin, nurses and aides for their warm affection and care during her stay.
