BETHEL – A story that appeared on page B1 of the River Valley and Oxford Hills editions Friday contained incorrect information. The proposed Bethel municipal budget for fiscal year 2009 is $3.2 million, and it’s the second year in a row that the town budget will be based on updated property valuation numbers. Additionally, the current budget is $3,098,446, and the initial budget proposal for 2009 was $4,151,699. The information was incorrectly reported by the Sun Journal.
