Dear Sun Spots: I work for a small nonprofit agency working with physically and mentally challenged adults in Mechanic Falls. I would like to have a music day for these people, which could consist of playing a guitar, fiddle, or karoake, etc. Music is one thing they relate well to. This would be on a volunteer basis for just a couple of hours some morning. If you could bring some musical joy to these people, please contact Pottle Works, Mitzi Robbins, activities director, 345-3511 x17. – Mitzi, Mechanic Falls.

Dear Sun Spots: Thank you for the help you give us through your very informative column. I’m hoping that you will be able to help me.

On Sunday, March 23, I watched three stories on the History Channel from 1 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.:
Bible Battles, Biblical Disasters, and Banned From the Bible II. Then, from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. I watched the programs on the Travel Channel, all about living with the Mek Tribe. They were four long shows, like a series. Very primitive living.

I was wondering if Sun Spots could find out if these are available on tape or disks, or if they will air again, and when. Thank you. – A., Lisbon Falls.

Answer:
Sun Spots has found out that Bible Battles and Biblical Disasters will be airing again. Bible Battles will be shown on the History Channel Monday, April 14 at 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. Biblical Disasters will also be on the History Channel Monday, April 14 at 9 a.m. and again at 3 p.m. Unfortunately, there are no scheduled air times for Banned From the Bible II within the next 2 weeks.

All three of these shows are available for purchase on DVD for around $25.00 each from A&E TV. You can order through the website, www.store.aetv.com or by calling 1-888-423-1212.

According to the Travel Channel’s website, Living with the Mek Tribe: The Adventures of Mark and Olly, chronicles the experiences of Mark Anstice and Olly Steeds, who trek to the remote corners of the world to learn about unique tribes and their culture. On March 23, they aired a series marathon beginning at 8 p.m. There are no scheduled air times for this show within the next few weeks, however Mark and Olly are now in the jungle of West Papua, living with the Kombai Tribe. This series began on Sunday, April 6 and new episodes air on the Travel Channel Sundays at 10 p.m. These shows are not available to purchase on video or DVD.

Dear Sun Spots: I recently spent time reading magazines in a waiting room, and there were a couple of articles I wanted to keep. I went right out to find the magazines to buy, but the issues were not to be found. If anyone has the March 2008 issues of Country Living and Good Housekeeping that they’d be willing to give away, I’d sure appreciate them! – Lewiston Craft Hound.

Answer:
If you are unable to find these certain issues, you may be able to find the articles you are looking for on the magazine websites: www.countryliving.com/magazine/ or www.goodhousekeeping.com.
