LEWISTON – Philomene O. Jalbert, 79, of Oak Street, passed away Thursday, April 10, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

She was born on Aug. 13, 1928, in Lewiston, the daughter of William and Marie (Lachance) Roberge.

She enjoyed cooking, square dancing, taking care of her 34 foster children and particularly family.

She is survived by sons, Albert Roberge of Litchfield, William Roberge of California, and Michael Jalbert of Texas; and daughters, Linda Morris of Florida, and Corinne Roux of Florida.

She was predeceased by her parents; previous husbands and love of her life, Donate Jalbert and Albert Roberge; brothers, Henry, Ruben and Morris Roberge; and sisters, Ann Nolin, Clair Souer and Malene Duchette.
