LEWISTON – A surprise party was held July 7 in honor of Paul and Sue Applegate of Lewiston, on the occasion of their 25th wedding anniversary. The party was given by the couple’s three children and was held at the home of Mrs. Applegate’s brother and attended by many friends and family.

Mr. Applegate and the former Susan Daniels were married July 10, 1982, at St. Patrick’s Church in Lewiston. The couple has three children, Krysten Applegate, a freshman at the University of Maine at Farmington, Elise Applegate, a sophomore at St. Dominic Regional High School, and Thomas Applegate, an eighth-grade student at Trinity Catholic School.

Mrs. Applegate is a social worker at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. Mr. Applegate is employed by Gates Formed Fiber in Auburn.

Original wedding attendants present were Peggy Jean, sister of Mrs. Applegate, John Daniels, brother of Mrs. Applegate, and Claire McDonough and Diane Pratt.
