LEWISTON – Philomene O. Jalbert, 79, of Oak Park, Lewiston, formerly of Enfield Street, Auburn, passed away Thursday, April 10, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

She was born on Aug. 13, 1928, to the late Marie (Lachance) and William Roberge. She was educated in Lewiston schools. She was a foster parent to many adults and children for 35 years.

She belonged to Horizon 55 Senior Citizens.

She enjoyed her beautiful flower gardens, traveling, family gatherings, animals and especially her grandchildren.

She married Donat Jalbert on Nov. 5, 1960. He passed away in July 2000.

She is survived by five children, Linda Morris and her companion, Chet Spiller, of Hebron and Zephyrhills, Fla., Albert Roberge and his companion, David Laberge, of Litchfield, William Roberge and his wife, Sally, of Palm Springs, Calif., Michael Jalbert and his wife, Flower, of Andrew, Texas, and Corinne Roux and her husband, Ronald, of Pensacola, Fla.

She is also survived by five grandchildren, Brian and Lori Morris, Jesse and Aaron Roberge, and Amber Roux; and two great-grandchildren, Briana Morris and Darcy Perkins.

She was predeceased by her sisters and brothers.
