LEWISTON – Antoinette I. Desrosiers, 78, of 159 Washington St., Auburn, died on Sunday, April 13, with her family at her side at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston.
Born in Stockholm on May 11, 1929, she was the daughter of Joseph and Annie Beaulieu Dubois. On Oct. 28, 1946, she married Julien A. Desrosiers, who passed away on Dec. 24, 1998.
She enjoyed her family gatherings, traveling and fishing and watching cooking shows. She was a longtime member of St. Mary’s Parish, and was a communicant at St. Louis Church and St. Patrick’s Church.
Survivors include eight sons, Roger and wife, Theresa, of Lewiston, Julien and wife, Carol, of Litchfield, Lucien and wife, Ruie, of Auburn, Roland of Sabattus, Gerard of Auburn, Maurice and wife, Donna, of Lewiston, Daniel of Auburn and Donald of Auburn; five daughters, Rita and husband, Leo Koss, of Mechanic Falls, Theresa Frees of Auburn, Doris Foley and companion, Tom Lachapelle, of Auburn, Lucille and husband, Roger Violette Sr., of Auburn and Claire and husband, Barry Plouff, of Auburn; three brothers, Roger Dubois of Sabattus, Clarence Dubois Sr. of Lewiston and Donald and wife, Joan Dubois, of Lisbon; a sister, Fern and husband, Percy Violette, of Plainville, Conn.; and over one hundred grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband; she was predeceased by a grandson, Michael Desrosiers; and two brothers, Lionel and Paul.
