Lisbon – Marjorie L. Clark, 83, of Lisbon, passed away peacefully on April 12, at St. Mary’s Hospital after a long illness.

She was born in Portland on Oct. 23, 1924, the daughter of Isaiah Tucker Irvin and Caroline Marie Irvin.

She attended school in the South Portland area. She was an auxiliary member of the American Legion in Westbrook, VFW in South Portland and the Eagles in New Gloucester for many years.

Marjorie loved life, she was very passionate when it came to her family, friends and animals. She loved to sit at the kitchen table and watch the birds daily.

She is survived by her loving husband, Douglas M. Clark, of 64 years; children Wayne D. Clark of South Portland, Lyn and Ronald (son-in-law) Salisbury of Gorham and Sandra L. Bishop of Lisbon; also grandchildren, Christopher R. Charest of Westbrook, Alexceus L. Verrill of Lisbon and Jaspen D. Bishop of Windham. Marjorie also has two great-grandchildren, Alan L. Verrill and Elliott Waltz of Lisbon. She is also survived by her cat, Miss Kitty.
