DADE CITY, Fla. – John Wesley Farnum, 77, of Zephyrhills, Fla., passed away April 6 in Dade City.

He was born in Lewiston, July 23, 1930, and came to Zephyrhills in 1992, from Turner. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force for 22 years.

After retiring from the service, he was employed as a Teamster, Local 340 out of Portland. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

He leaves behind his wife of 56 years, Jean Farnum of Zephyrhills; three daughters, Brenda Leino of Lewiston, Judith Smith and her husband, Mark, of Fairfield and Christine O’Leary of El Paso, Texas; five grandchildren, Jonathan Leino of Orlando, Fla., Shannon Karns and Rianne Ouellette of Waterville and Nicole and Keith O’Leary of El Paso, Texas; three great-grandchildren, Zoey, Zarah and Nicholas of Waterville; and a cousin, Alice Durgin of Port Orange, Fla.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him.
