BETHEL – President Allen Cressy has called a special meeting of the Bethel Historical Society for 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at the O’Neil Robinson House, 10 Broad St., to vote on proposed amendments and changes in the bylaws.

The draft language includes adding up to six more trustees to the board and the creation of a Development Committee. All members of the society are invited to attend and consider the changes.

There will also be a report on the society’s plans for the immediate future. Advance copies of the bylaw changes can be obtained by visiting the main office at the Robinson House or calling 824-2908 or 800-824-2910.
