CARIBOU (AP) – It’s looking like Caribou may fall just shy of the 200-inch mark for snow this season.
All the city needs is another 2.2 inches of snow to reach that lofty mark, but there’s no snow in the immediate forecast. Forecasters from the National Weather Service say it could still happen, though, if there’s a late storm.
Even without any more snow, it has been a season for the record books. Caribou shattered its previous record of 181 inches, set in 1955.
