AUGUSTA – The Maine Academy of Country Music will hold a benefit fundraiser from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 20, at the American Legion Post 205, Route No.17.

Among those scheduled to appear are “Fiddlin'” Tim Farrell, Bob Elston, Sonny Bickford on the Steel Guitar, Cleo, Donna and Jared Alley, Mark Parlin, Dan Corbett, The Higgins Family, Dick Philbrook, Otto Proctor Jr., Burt Truman, Fred Couverette, Slim Andrews, Jeff Clark, Chris Fyfe on keyboard, Danny Harper, Brenda Millett, Lefty Dean, “Lil” Butch Howard, Doug Matthews, Eddie Beaudoin on drums, Denny Breau, and Flo and Charlene Hooper.

Doors will open at noon. There will be a snack kitchen and raffles, and the MACM booth will be set up. Post 205 is on Route 17.

Admission is $10 for the general public; $8 for MACM members.
