Squadron meets

AUBURN – The 77th Composite Squadron, Civil Air Patrol, meets at 6 p.m. every Thursday at the Auburn/Lewiston Airport, 80 Airport Road. CAP is a humanitarian and educational nonprofit organization, civilian volunteers of the Air Force Auxiliary.

Lodge meeting

AUBURN – Ashlar Lodge 105, AF and AM, will have its monthly communication on Monday, April 21, at the Auburn Masonic Temple, 1021 Turner St.

The meeting will start at 7:30 p.m. with refreshments to follow. All Masons are welcome to attend. For more information, contact Steve Peterson at 777-1728.

Haiti yard sale

LEWISTON – The St. Mary’s annual Haiti Yard Sale will benefit the Sisters of Charity Mission in Haiti. The sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at the Lepage Conference Center, 99 Campus Ave.

There will be small furniture and appliances, clothes, books, movies and puzzles. All proceeds go directly to Fr. Marc Boisvert’s orphanage for boys (Pwojet Espwa) in Les Cayes and to St. Bonifice Haiti Hospital in Fond des Blancs.

To donate items to the sale, drop them off between 1 and 5 p.m. Friday, April 25, in the Lepage Conference Center.

Volunteers are needed for Saturday. Call Moe Perron at 777-8261 or Shirley Perron at 777-8280.
