Society speaker

OXFORD – The Oxford Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Friday, April 25, at the Kay House Museum, Pleasant Street. John Bernard of Portland will speak on raising pheasants in New England.

The meeting will begin with a short business meeting. Refreshments will be served after the program.

Supper meeting

WEST PARIS – The West Paris Historical Society will hold its first meeting Monday, April 21, with a potluck supper at 6 p.m., meeting at 7 and spring social hour.

Anyone interested in attending should bring a casserole. For more information, contact Betty Jones at 674-2507 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Cemetery meeting

WEST PARIS – The annual meeting of the Finnish Cemetery Association will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, at the Mission Congregational Church, Church Street. Reports will be given and election of officers will be held. All persons having any connections with the cemetery are invited to attend.

Garden club
