CHESTERVILLE – A composting workshop, sponsored by the University of Maine Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners, in conjunction with Ron Slater of Sandy River Recycling Association, will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, at the Chesterville Town Office.

The free workshop will introduce home gardeners to the basics of composting.

Call the University of Maine Cooperative Extension at 778-4452 to preregister and get directions.

A minimum of 10 registrations is necessary.

Several “Earth Mover” compost bins will be available for purchase. Refreshments will be served.
