LISBON FALLS – The annual Ralph Pearson Memorial tournament was held this past weekend at Good Time Lanes. It was a 10-string, mixed doubles event with handicap added. Fifty-three teams competed from around the state.

Fryeburg’s Saco Valley Sports Center team emerged with the win, with Joann Daly and Scott Layne combining for a score of 2,931. Daly had a scratch score of 1,024, highlighted by a personal high game of 141 in the secondstring . Layne rolled 1,247 with a 162 game in the seventh. Both bowlers compete weekly on the Friday couples league at Saco Valley Sports Center.

Second was the team of Heidi Doucette and Craig Adamson with 2,925. Lisa and Rick Mack of Hobbs Lucky Lanes in South Paris were third with 2,911, followed by Stephanie Chase and Scott Lapierre of Vacationland Bowling in Saco with 2,904 and Good Times’ own Jen Davis and Ken Pinette in fifth at 2,885.
