I was disgusted to see on the front page of the Sun Journal (April 16) a photo of our American flags on the floor at the University of Maine at Farmington as a school project. That was an insult to all true Americans, where so many of our young men and women have served and died for this flag and our country.

If I would be a legislator in Augusta, I would do something about it, even cut the arts project from the university until they learn to respect our national flag.
