AUBURN – Dale A. Moore Sr., 59, of Summer Street, Lisbon Falls, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Friday, April 18, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care with his family and dog, Poppy, at his side.
He was born in Lisbon Falls on April 21, 1948, the son of Elmer L. and Vera M. Parker Moore. He was educated in local schools and was married to Phyllis L. Moore.
He had been employed at Pejepscot Paper, local woolen mills, worked several years at Tony’s Sunoco, and was last employed at Casco Bay Ford.
He was a member of Lisbon Falls Baptist Church, past president of the Lisbon Cemetery Association and a member of the Moxie Festival Committee.
He enjoyed flower gardening, model cars, restoring his 1954 Oldsmobile, cruise nights and riding his ATV.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis, of Lisbon Falls; three sons, Dale Moore Jr. and wife, Julie, of Lisbon Falls, Jeffery Moore and wife, Donna, of Houlton, and Keith Moore and wife, Tammi, of Hermon; five grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
He was predeceased by his mom and dad; siblings, Betty Roberts, Llewellyn Moore, twins Velma and Elmer Moore, and Norman Moore; and a grandson, Ryan D. Moore.
