Marine League

AUBURN – The Marine Corps League, Central Maine Detachment, will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 24, at the New Auburn American Legion Post 153, 71 South Main St., New Auburn (use side door on Cook Street side).

Programs coming up and activities will be discussed. From 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 26, members will have a table set up at the Auburn Mall to explain what the group is all about. There will also be other veterans organizations with booths.

W. Minot Grange

MINOT – The West Minot Grange, in observance of National Grange Month, will host a Community Awareness Day from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 26, when small businesses from the community are invited to the West Minot Grange Hall.

Residents are also invited to find out about the Grange and businesses in the community. There will be displays and a free lunch will be provided. Businesses who would like to have a display or more information should contact Jim at 966-2913 or Dave at 345-3040. Seniors trip

LEWISTON – The Meadowview Seniors will take a day trip to Boothbay Harbor for a meal of lobster or chicken at Cabbage Island on Saturday, June 21. Cost is $75 each.
