AUBURN – Henry W. Beaudoin, 65, of Linden Street, Auburn, died Tuesday, April 22, at The Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice with his family at his side.
He was born in Auburn on Jan. 22, 1943, a son to the late Ronaldo and Camilienne (Fournier) Beaudoin. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He married the love of his life, Carol Charbonneau on Jan. 22, 1966. He worked for Knapp Shoe and Falcon Shoe until his retirement in 2005.
He was an avid bowler on the Friday night league at Sparetime and was a member of St. Patrick’s Church and the Pastime Club. He enjoyed his hobby of making miniature houses for his train sets. He was proud of getting his GED last June.
He leaves his wife of 42 years, Carol of Auburn; his son, Roland Beaudoin and his companion, Sandy Shorette, of Oxford; a cherished granddaughter, Ashley Ann Flaherty; a brother, Ronaldo (Sonny) Beaudoin of Lewiston; and two sisters, Carmen Moreau of Turner and Diane Dumont and her husband, Leo, of Sabattus.
He was predeceased by two daughters, Doris Flaherty and Denise Beaudoin; five brothers, Lionel, Gerard, Robert, Roland and Armand; and one sister, Helen Labrie.
