SAINT-HYACINTH, Quebec – Sister Yvette Ouellette, 84, of the congregation of the Sisters of Charity of Saint-Hyacinth passed away on April 23.
She was born in Lewiston, on April 3, 1924. She entered the community on Aug. 2, 1950, and made profession on Feb. 14, 1953. She served in Rochester, N.H., at St. Charles Orphanage, in Manchester, N.H., at St. Peter’s Home, in Lewiston at St. Mary’s Hospital, and at the Sister’s residence, where she took care of the cafeteria and the printing. She was also receptionist.
She died suddenly while in Honorer-Mercier Hospital while under going diagnostic tests.
Surviving are her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Laurier Langrange (Germaine) from Lewiston.
