LEWISTON – A Mass of Cristian Burial honoring the life of Germaine A. Carpentier was held Thursday at Holy Cross Church with the Rev. Antonio Amato celebrating the Mass and reciting committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Before Mass the pall was placed on the casket by all of Germaine’s grandsons, and the crucifix was then placed on top of the pall by Germaine’s daughter, Lorraine Rodrigue. During Mass, readings were by Germaine’s grandsons, Michael, Dean and David Rodrigue. The presentation of gifts were brought to the altar by Germaine’s great-grandchildren, Stephanie and Christien Rodrigue. Pallbearers were Daniel, Michael, Richard, David and Dean Rodrigue as well as Michael Cheeping. After the services, a reception of fellowship was then held at Marco’s Restaurant in Lewiston.
