STRONG – Four rifles and a safe were stolen from a South Strong Road residence during the day Thursday, Franklin County Deputy Sandy Burke said.

It is the third residential burglary in three days, one on each day, in the same area of town, he said.

Guns and prescriptions drugs were taken from a Frederick Road home on Tuesday, Burke said.

Deputy Heidi Gould said tools, food and liquor were among the items taken from a Streeter Road home on Wednesday.

Neither the Frederick Road or South Strong Road residences were forced entry, Burke said. Both had unlocked doors.

It was a forced entry into the Streeter Road home and a lot of criminal mischief was done, Gould said.

Anyone with any information are asked to call the Sheriff’s Department at 778-2680.
