Between Wednesday, April 16, at 7 a.m. and Wednesday, April 23, at 7 a.m. this department has responded to 798 calls for service. Of those calls, 205 of them were motor vehicle stops.

Criminal Mischief

A gate at the Chestnut Street parking garage was broken off overnight April 16-17.

123 Spring St. was tagged with graffiti overnight April 18-19.

A vehicle parked at 17 Horton St. had a large rock was thrown through its window between April 18 at 10 p.m. and April 19 at 10 a.m.

On April 18 at 10:52 p.m. officers responded to 322 Stetson Road for a report of two subjects in a dark colored, medium-sized sedan smashing mailboxes. A check of the area revealed numerous boxes had been damaged on Stetson, Hogan, and Central, Deer and Pond roads.

A vehicle parked in front of the resource center at Hillview Apartments had a window smashed out between 5 p.m. and 5:41 p.m. on April 19.

A vehicle driving past Sabattus and Laurier streets on April 18 at 5:04 p.m. had its window shot out by a pellet gun.

The rear of 240 Bartlett St. was tagged with graffiti overnight April 18-19.

A vehicle parked at 80 Pine St. had a window smashed out overnight April 19-20.

A building at 96 Birch St. was tagged with graffiti overnight April 18-19.

The garage door at 154 Pierce St. was tagged with graffiti overnight April 19-20.

A juvenile was walking along Lincoln Street on April 22 at 8 p.m. when she was struck in the face by multiple eggs.

The parking deck at the Bates Mill was tagged with graffiti between 11 p.m. on April 22 and 1:30 a.m. on April 23.

The FISC building on Lisbon Street was tagged with graffiti overnight April 22-23.

Approximately 50 mailboxes near 85 Pond Road were smashed prior to April 23 at 1:30 a.m. Witnesses report seeing two cars driving slowly through the area just prior to the vandalism occurring.

Motor Vehicle Burglaries

A vehicle parked at Thorncrag Bird Sanctuary was burglarized on April 17 prior to 6 p.m.; a purse was taken from inside.

Two vehicles in the Blockbuster lot at 27 East Ave. were burglarized on April 21 at 6:30 p.m. by a male and a female who were seen driving away in a gray Ford Taurus.

A speaker box with two 10-inch subwoofers was stolen from the truck of a car parked at 1399 Lisbon St. sometime within the past two weeks. A witness reports having seen a husky black male removing the speakers from the car on April 5.

Burglaries

An apartment at 29 Howard St. was burglarized between April 17 at 9 a.m. and April 18 at 12:30 a.m. The entry door was forced open and the bed appeared to have been slept in, a purple and silver girl’s bicycle was stolen from the hallway outside the apartment.

An apartment at 22 Garcelon St. was burglarized prior to 4:30 p.m. on April 21. An HP laptop and a Dell Laptop computer were stolen.

An apartment at 44 Nichols St. was burglarized and ransacked overnight April 22-23.

Thefts

Some items left by the side of 200 Central Ave. with a “For Sale” sign were stolen between 1:30 and 2:30 on April 16.

A large metal satellite dish was stolen from the back yard of 15 South Ave. prior to 3 p.m. on April 16.

A green mountain bike was stolen from 28 Frye St. between 2:10 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. on April 20.

Indecent Exposures

A male suspect was summonsed for indecent conduct on April 18 at 2:37 p.m. after he was seen driving around the city with no pants on and masturbating. He was driving a purple GMC Yukon.

Officers responded to Martel School on East Avenue on April 22 at 12:46 p.m. for a report of a male subject with his jogging pants around his ankles masturbating in public. Officers charged Daniel Locke, 39, with indecent exposure after locating him behind the Hudson Bus Lines buildings.

Operating Under the Influence Arrests

Buckley Roberts, 35, was charged with operating under the influence on April 17 at 12:46 a.m. at Sabattus Street and Randall Road following a routine traffic stop.

Charles Lomotey, 30, was charged with operating under the influence and operating after suspension on April 18 at 1:14 a.m. at Holland and Wood streets following a routine traffic stop.

Paul Therriault, 41, was charged with operating under the influence on April 18 at Main and Montello streets following a routine traffic stop.

Ricki Baker, 34, was charged with operating under the influence on April 19 at 11:25 p.m. at College and Russell streets after a report that he was squealing his tires in the roadway and one of them caught on fire.

Operating After Suspension Arrests

Mohamed Omar, 22, was charged with operating while license suspended on April 21 at 1:17 a.m. at Pine and Bartlett streets following a routine traffic stop.

Jason Orlando, 38, was charged with operating after habitual offender status on April 21 at 11:35 p.m. at Birch and Park streets following a routine traffic stop.

Jovan Burnham, 25, was charged with operating while license suspende on April 22 at 3:50 a.m. at East Avenue and Newman Street following a routine traffic stop.

Daniel Hilton, 29, was charged with operating while license suspended on April 23 at 4:44 a.m. at Canal and Locust streets following a routine traffic stop.

Christopher Cook, 34, was charged with operating after habitual offender status on Apil 22 at 11:30 p.m. at 88 Park St. following a routine traffic stop.
