FARMINGTON – Bill Roorbach and Wes McNair, two authors in the collection “A Healing Touch: True Stories of Life, Death and Hospice,” will give readings and sign copies at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 1, at Devaney Doak & Garrett Booksellers.

In the collection, Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Richard Russo and five other Maine authors set out to prove the close of life need not be filled with darkness, when hospice help is at hand.
