AUBURN – A man described as the victim of a home invasion in January was arrested Thursday night on a charge of trafficking in marijuana.

Police and drug agents arrested Michael Harvey, 28, after searching his home at 1393 Washington St., where investigators said they found four ounces of pot worth roughly $600.

Police said they also seized paraphernalia and $840 in cash believed to be from drug transactions.

It was Harvey’s second drug arrest since the start of the year.

On Jan. 2, he was arrested on a charge of cultivating marijuana after a home invasion at the Washington Street address that also resulted in the arrests of four others.

In that heist, police said two men went to Harvey’s home, threatened him with a gun and bound him with duct tape before fleeing with marijuana and jewelry.

After his arrest on Thursday, Harvey was taken to the Androscoggin County Jail where he remained on Friday.
