It would appear most everyone agrees the federal government in Washington is corrupt. However, it’s not because of their representatives, only representatives from states other than their own.

As for state government, it’s the sameit’s other reps from across the state, not our reps. I wonder – how can things change with this mindset?

What comes to mind is kind of scary. We could lose our borders. We could have English become a secondary language in the United States, another country taking over the United States without even firing a shot, or Christianity becoming a crime as long as our present reps in government think what they are doing will get them re-elected.

Our military has a civilian “elected” commander-in-chief and “elected” government reps who choose to fund or not to fund the military, according to the military’s need.

Our military is made up of volunteers, sons and daughters who are willing to put their lives where their beliefs are.

The majority of voters however, don’t seem to have the courage or patriotism or understanding of the importance of their vote. It is the votes of the majority of voters that determine whether the United States goes to war or notand if the government will support the military or notor whether the government stays corrupt or not.

Can your voting record pass the “look yourself in the mirror” test?
