MADAWASKA – The wedding of Lorelei Anna Marquis and Daniel Francis Easler was held at 4 p.m. Oct. 5 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. The Rev. James Albert officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Easler is the daughter of Dennis and Louise (Boucher) Marquis of Lisbon. Mr. Easler is the son of Guy and Marguerite Easler of Ellsworth.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless ivory satin gown in A-line style with side draped bodice, beaded and embroidered lace with appliqués and a chapel train. She carried a bouquet of red roses and ivory stephanotis.

Melody Grant, best friend of the bride, was her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jenn Gagne, friend of the bride, and Vanessa Boucher, cousin of the bride.

Brian Easler performed the duties of best man for his brother. Ushers were Chris Tooley and Jack Royal, nephews of the bridegroom.

A reception followed at the scenic Lakeview Restaurant in St. Agatha, after which the couple traveled to Quebec City in Canada.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School and a 2007 cum laude graduate of DeSales University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in dance with a minor in costume design. She is currently teaching at the Dance Center in Auburn and will be performing in this spring’s show.

The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Rockland District High School and served in the Armed Forces until 2006, where he completed two tours of Iraq and earned a Purple Heart. He is currently employed at the Naval Shipyard in Kittery.
